Silver Mountain Resort
Why can these people not stop smiling???
No kids, blue sky and skiing/snowboarding!
Getting ready to attack the slopes. Eric's dad retired his skis to Eric earlier this year and we tried them out last weekend. Little did Eric know that skinny skis are soooo yesterday and fat skis are in. One of the lift operators even commented on it. Pretty funny.
Yes, I am on the bunny slop, but it has been a while. I had a great time and did not blow my knee out like the last time I was on a ski hill. YEAHHH!
The magic carpet up the bunny slop was really slow and Eric got this great pic of me:)
Wrestling Week 2
This is just a short segment of Noah's meet. He wrestles 3 times
for 3 minutes each time. He won this round because he was
able to get the kid on his back.

Snow in March!
I'm glad that most of my family can smile when it snows in March.
Eric and Violet spent some time in the snow and built a mini-snowman.
After church, Violet had to go and see the snowman. Anytime she sees
snow she calls it "snowman".
CV Days at the Mall
Central Valley School District displays the talent of all the schools
in the district at the Mall for a week in March. Amy sings in
Mountain Melodies at Summit School.
She loves to sing and perform.

Making Cookies with Violet
Cooking with kids is always an adventure. We have been
trying to teach Violet to smile at the camera and this is
what we usually get:) She has a beautiful smile when we
aren't behind a camera. She is a funny kiddo!
Fun in California
After the cruise, I was able to stay at my parents with Violet for a few
more days. We had a great time hanging out, making Carrie's DVD, and
working on excel sheets:) Thanks for all the FUN!

Our first day on the Pearl by NCL.

We spent the day snorkeling and playing on the beach.

Belize City, Belize
We went on an Rain Forest Trek & Cave Tubing Adventure.
So we hiked for about 45 minutes and then jumped onto tubes into a River.
The river was about 1 1/2 hours and we tubed through 2 caves. Fun!!
Cozumel, Mexico
We spent 1/2 the day snorkeling and the other half driving around
the island on this! We had a blast, but those drivers are crazy over there.

10 Things I like about Snow
10. The beautiful snow covered mountains. They just melt into the heavens.
9. Snowmen.
8. Snow angels
7. The perfect snow flake. Everyone is just so unique!
6. Fire in the Fireplace.
5. Hot chocolate with marshmellows.
4. Red cheeks from the cold.
3. Scarves--there are so many to choose from and fun to dress up or down.
2. Sweaters--no need to be thin when you can hide it all in layers:)
1. SLEDDING!!!!
10 Things I hate about Snow!
10. The temperature is 32 degrees or lower.
9. Wet foot prints on my floor.
8. Having to take a jacket with you everywhere.
7. Ugly snow boots.
6. My feet never being warm.
5. Ice on the street and no one slowing down!
4. Gray, gray, and more gray skies.
3. Wool---makes me itch:)

Our newest cousin!
Henry Charles Erickson was born early Jan. 2, 2009.
Born to Uncle Chuck, Aunt Andrea, and Ruby Ann.
He was 7 weeks early but still weighed just over 5 lbs.
Both mom and baby are doing good!
Pre-Birthday Bash at Grandma's
Grandma invited us over for a pre-birthday celebration since she has to
go help Uncle Chuck, Aunt Andrea, Ruby and newest edition Hank!
